The Studio

Blue Waves Mastering was founded in 2021 in The Hague – Netherlands, based on a dream I had while I was starting my sound education back in 2008, Chile.

My mission is to be an extra set of ears with professional equipment using my fairly 19 years of experience in the entertainment industry. I will try to get this extra 5% that will make difference in your productions.

My vision is give to our creative community a place where they can get the confidence of their project will be seen from an objective point, but most important, from a point of truly care.

Jonathan F. Salas Guerrero

I am a Chilean sound technician since 2011 working in at the entertainment industry since early 2000 starting as a DJ, sound tech, light tech, broadcast tech, stage and production manager, head sound and light technician.

Before and while studying, I worked couple of years in Chile, but my target was always see the world, other cultures others sounds and by November 2011 I got an offer to work on Cruise Ships, since then I haven’t stop!. Ship by ship, country by country, culture by culture, etc. I worked with a countless of different acts, performers, headliners, tribute bands, rock theme charters, production shows and lately couple of big musical theater show.

Since 2019, I have been extremely happy being Audio 1 for couples of big show such as We Will Rock You – Mamma Mia!. Currently I finish my latest Big Musical Show – GREASE on board of one of the biggest ships in the world with 25 performers (singers/dancers/actors), 9 piece orchestra, tracks, conductor, etc.

The last couple of year I have been recording multi-tracks some of the acts during their live performances and mix then at the studio, Doing that I was able to realize I am in love with recording, live mixing, mixing at the studio and mastering.

I’m personally invite you to trust on my ears, on all those adventurous years around the world on ships, so together we can bring more music to this world!
